Thanks to the kind gifts from neighbors like you, Hope Educational Center has been able to assist hundreds of hardworking adults like Alide – a single mother of two children, who came to Hope Educational Center with limited English and little to no job skills but with big aspirations of becoming a nurse and being able to provide for her family; Jossette, whom through our courses was soon able to land a stable job. Today, Alide continues to attend classes around her busy work schedule to further improve her English skills and has her sights set on attending nursing school in the coming year.  Hope for Families is making great strides assisting families like Alide’s and Josette’s

In addition, Hope Educational Center recognizes the need to increase support for parents who are struggling to better themselves while dealing with the additional hardships of caring for a child with special needs. There are precious few after school care options for working parents who have a child with developmental disabilities. Programs in Naples that are equipped to deal with the special needs of such children have long waiting lists. HFF has qualified staff with specialized training and credentials in special education and is therefore uniquely positioned to begin offering after school programs for children with special needs.
