Computer Classes
Our computer classes are once a week morning and night every Tuesday and Friday. The class is designed to help and teach low -income families to learn basic computer skills and how to navigate online search in order to increase their chances to find a job or get a promotion. As technology continue to advance, it’s becoming a greater challenge for families to find or keep a job without some computer level knowledge.
Home Health Aide (HHA)
The Home Health Aide certification program is one that provides individuals with the training to care for patients who are elderly, suffer chronic health conditions and disabilities. HHA students who receive their certification through completing the program with us they are trained to provide care within the homes of their patients. Classes are offer morning and night as well as online to better assist our students.
Certified Nursing Assistant Prep (CNA)
Our Certified Nursing Prep class is an intense course dedicated to help students to better review and prepare themself to challenge the state exam. The review course is a combination of theory and clinical materials to help students to better understand their roles and responsibilities as a CNA.
Language Classes
Hope Educational Center provides English classes to families two days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We work with a very structured curriculum along with books, print outs materials and other creative materials to increase our students’ learning abilities. Every student is required to promptly attend both classes. Each semester lasts for a period of three months; within the three months, students’ progress are measured through quiz, test, work in team and creative verbal activities.
High School Diploma
The purpose of a high school diploma is to show as evidence that a student has completed all course-work requirements in order to graduate high school. It is also an important benchmark for future employers, colleges, and the military. A high school diploma can increase your income, career opportunities, and access to higher education.
Students who attend our High School Diploma program has the ability to do self-study or attend the actual class for a period of 7 weeks course.
Job Search & Application
The purpose of this service is to help our clients to find a job. As inflation continues to rise, the ability of landing a job is becoming more difficult. Hope Educational Services has created a package that allows our clients the proper assistance that they need to find a job.
Whether it is searching for a job, job interview skills, create a resume or fill out a job application for our clients, we are available to assist in all areas.
Chaplaincy Certificate
Looking for an opportunity to get involved in influencing people in a more spiritual level; this certificate allows you to do so. It provides each student the knowledge to become an ambassador for Christ in Hospital or Nursing Home environment, and in prison. When complete this course, a certificate, a badge and an ID are presented to each student as evidence that they have completed the recommending skills to achieve the chaplaincy certificate.
CPR Renewal (BLS)
According to the HIPPA rules and regulations, healthcare workers are required to renew their CPR card every two years from the date it was issuance. Hope Educational Center have created a feasible method following the guidelines; with flexible ours for any student to take a refresher course to maintain their CPR skills and stay certified.
